We had an awesome night after our day 1 adventure and everyone woke up late as we’re all drunk (except for the kids of course) and tired of the long and very early trip on our day 1. The first itinerary for the day was the famous salagdoong beach. It is just a couple of minutes’ drive from our place, less than 10 minutes even and part of the same municipality. Our male cebu tour specialists were all excited, not just for the white sand beach but also for the jumps on the cliff and to do some snorkeling. First jump was done by cebu tour specialist Russel followed by Peter then Floro and they jumped again and again until i joined them. While we were doing the jumps at different parts of the cliff, the kids and the girls were enjoying swimming at the beach. We only spent a couple of hours there and left for another place. We changed clothes as next itineraries will be just site seeing, no more sea activities.
From Salagdoong Beach, we moved to the next town, called Talingting. We just stopped to take a picture at “Smile Talingting” then left again for the next town.
Next stop was Kanheron. This place was full of cowboys stuff, antiquities, wines and preserved animal parts like heads, horns and skins.
After less than an hour, we left for Siquijor Church and Bell tower. We just pass through there and take a picture.
Next stop was to take a picture at the “I love Siquijor” with the Siquijor Port as the background.
We then moved to Capilay Spring Park.
Our last stop was at Tignao where you can find the “broom rides”… After a couple of pictures of rides and jumps, we then hid back home for late lunch and enjoy the rest of the fiesta. Had a couple of drinks and then packed our things to catch the 5PM trip of Maayo Shipping from Larena Port direct to Lilo-an Port in Santander, Cebu.
From Larena Port, it took us almost 3 hours via Maayo Shipping ferry to get to Lilo-an Port. So we arrived there around 8PM and we were all hungry so decided to stop at a restaurant at the Oslob Whale shark Watching area to eat dinner. Right after dinner we immediately continue our trip and we arrived Cebu City around 10:30PM and reached home by around 11PM. We have skipped a few other tourist spots as we were a bit short of time already due to the activities in fiesta. As a local of Siquijor Island, the most usual tour there is the pilgrimage tour which involves church visits to all churches in 6 municipalities. Aside from the churches we have also skipped the Triad, a sort of viewing deck like what we had here in Cebu, the Tops busay Lookout. Another famous siquijor tourist spot we skipped was the cantabon cave, siquijor butterfly garden and Bandilaan Mountain Park which is very popular and most visited during the holy week.
